A Bit Of Magic
I’ve had to fly interstate this week to attend a friend’s wedding. I’m also catching up with family and friends while I’m here so my social calender is pretty much full. This unfortunately isn’t leaving me a great deal of time to dedicate to online gaming or surf the net. Level 30 in Tabula Rasa may have to wait.
What I have found time for is a bit of Magic-The Gathering Online. I actually played my first game against a real opponent in the Training Room. A couple of things surprised me. One, how good I was actually doing, at least so it appeared, and two, how long this particular match went for. At one stage I had a lead of 12 life points on my opponent. Alas there’s no happy ending for me, because he somehow managed to smash me in three turns after that and win the game. But it was certainly challenging, educational, and more importantly, fun.
So it might be back to the tutorials for a bit more practice and then another trip to the Training Room.
