When A Sure Thing’s Not So Sure
It still upsets me when I think of what a game like The Matrix Online (MXO) could’ve been, and how it missed the mark. Star Wars Galaxies is another game that had every reason to be a success and yet failed to deliver (this gets complicated because you have pre and post NGE). Both these games had the potential to pull millions of subscribers but failed to do so. Yet World of Warcraft succeeded where those two failed. Ah well, such is life.
