EVE Online
I decided to try the 14 day trial for EVE Online, though I’m not sure I’ll have much time to play it. My first impressions so far are that it’s a bit slow and a bit complicated. There are so many different skills and I’m not sure exactly how I increase those skills. I believe it’s a case of the more I use them the more they increase, and I can allocate some points into them which will increase the rate at which they increase. I have no idea if I chose correct skills at character creation or allocated points correctly.
One thing’s for sure, EVE looks good.

Thanks for the offer Sciroc. EVE keeps drawing me back. Space looks beautiful.
I’ll have to wait and see if it’s enough to keep me interested.

Yes, EVE is a slower paced game.
Yes, EVE is a complicated game.
Yes, EVE will be like no MMO you have ever played if you make it past the trial period. It is worth the battle to learn it as it is the deepest MMO out there.
The skills train according to real time, not usage. Start training the different Learning skills first as that will decrease the time all the other skills take.
Depending on what you want to do (combat, mining, trading) is where your next skills will come from. Contact me in Eve and I’ll work with you on some if you like.
