To Pay Or Not To Pay
I’ve continued to follow Tabula Rasa since I stopped playing it back in January. There have been 15 patches released for Tabula Rasa since its launch at the start of November. It’s good to see that the developers have been so actively improving on the game. I liked Tabula Rasa; it unfortunately started to get boring quickly. My biggest gripe with the game though was grouping. Rather the lack of cohesion in groups. There was also little reason to group, making the game feel like a single player game with an instant messenger attached.
Still, I’ve been missing the game. I liked the Sci-Fi setting, the weapons, and the combat. The only thing that’s stopping me is the subscription fee. It’s not that I think it’s a lot or not worth it. And it’s not like I can’t afford another subscription fee. I just wonder if I have the time to play two MMOs. It would make more sense for me to upgrade my Sony account to their Station Package which includes a number of their MMOs. Then I could play Vanguard, Everquest 2, PotBS and The Matrix Online (not that I would play MXO). They’re the Sony games I have installed on my computer at the moment. I had Star Wars Galaxies and Planetside on my previous box but they were digital downloads and I can’t be bothered going to the trouble of downloading them again.
So that’s my current dilemma. Continue to devote my game time to Vanguard or play on of my other MMOs as well.
Does my limited free time justify the added expense?

Prolly not but of course its up to you. I don’t really think spreading yourself too thin is a great thing anyways. Especially in social games like MMO’s which are best experienced when you focus on one. Just my opinion.
