     I was perusing a Warhammer fansite and on it they had a poll on which class you intend playing when the game finally releases.  To date the site has 5758 votes.  While certainly not a huge number compared with how many people will play Warhammer, it is a significant quantity all the same and certainly worth taking note of.  I’ve copied the results below.  I must point out that the High Elves and Dark Elves were not included in the original poll. 

      According to this poll the Dwarfs don’t get much love.  And there also looks like there will be a tank shortage for Order unless we see a lot of High Elf Swordmasters.  From what I can tell the Swordmaster is a lighter armour wearing tank that uses evades, more akin to Dark Age of Camelot’s mercenary or the monk in Everquest 2.  The two most popular classes are the Witch Hunter, the melee DPS character, and the Warrior Priest, one of the healer’s available.

     On the other side of the fence it seems that Destruction is more popular (around 60/40) and character choice more evenly distributed.  Plenty of tanks too, with the most popular class being the Chosen, the Chaos tank class.
