     I’ve been a bit quiet on the old blog this week.  It’s not that I’ve been busy.  On the contrary, I’ve had a few days off and the wife was out of town visiting her parents so I’ve been having some gaming power sessions much to my delight.  I’ve also finally upgraded my monitor.  Gone is the 19” CRT, replaced by a beautiful 22” widescreen LCD.  Couple that with 3.1 logitech speakers and I have been in gaming heaven.

     My cleric is now level 28 thanks mostly to groups in Trengal Keep.  I’ve been doing the questline for there and am up to 6, the last one.  There’s always groups doing these quests but it’s hard to find people on the same one as you so I’ve been in groups doing TK’s one to three a lot.  But TK provides good XP and if you have a good group it’s worth going in there just for the XP.

     With all this levelling I’ve unfortunately neglected my skinning and reaping, my two harvesting skills, and out-levelled them both.  I couldn’t skin the mobs I was killing at my level, so I spent a good hour or two killing and skinning grey mobs to get my level up.  My skinning is now at 225 and it’s a lot slower going now than the first 100.  I’m lucky to get a skill increase for every third or fourth mob I skin.  My reaping is still around 115 and I’m not particularly worried about this one at the moment.  I’m not ready to go through the crafting grind again just yet, not after EQ2, so I’m only harvesting to make some gold on the broker and not for the mats per se.
